What should I do if the item I receive is not as described or is not in the condition the seller stated?

You should contact the seller first. We provide all buyers with the contact details of the seller immediately after purchase by email.

We advise all sellers to resolve complaints quickly so this is normally all you will need to do. If the seller agrees to refund you, you should then return the item to the seller by recorded delivery so that you can prove they got it back.

If the seller does not communicate with you or refuses to help you you should do the following.

If you purchased using paypal (recommended) file a dispute with them from your paypal account they may refund your purchase.

If you purchased using a credit card then contact your credit card company about doing a chargeback to recover your funds.

Also please inform us of the situation so that we can keep records. If we receive repeated complaints against sellers we may delete their account at Discount Kids.

Please remember that as per our terms of service all purchases are private agreements between buyer and seller Discount Kids or its employees are not responsible or liable in any way should something go wrong.

However if you follow our advice on the main site for buying you should have a safe shopping experience with protection should something go wrong.
